They recommend people living with dementia to “Have a go!’ at the bold programme and talk about why they would highly recommend joining bold and what their takeaway moments were.

My personal highlights are Anne-Marie chatting about the Dolphin Arts Project and Christine sharing how her reflective walks inspired her creative writing and Fenella’s lovely insightful chat all the way through.

bold Stories: Ep. 4 – Lorna Campbell
Launching Episode 4 from our ‘bold stories’ podcast. In this episode Lorna chats about her reflections from the bold Programme and how she learned to address her own emotional needs in order to be able to support other people and be a dementia leader.
Lorna Campbell is a free-lance visual artist and social-enterprise advocate. Lorna and her family had a difficult journey supporting her dad through his time with dementia.
BOLD was a great opportunity to explore how these two aspects could combine to improve dementia awareness and support and in April 2020 attended the Online bold Social Leadership Programme.
Lorna comments ‘It’s okay to be bold in different ways and to take tiny steps, you don’t have to be an all singing and all dancing leader overnight’.
