bold Threads of Connection

You are all warmly invited to help us celebrate our collective bold story as part of the bold Celebrations Event on 4th March 2024. We are excited to announce our ambitious plans to bring the individual stories of our personal bold journeys together in a large-scale knotting, dyeing and weaving project.

The bold Threads of Connection project, led by bold partner and artist, Barbara Gardner-Rowell, has been designed so that everyone can take part, whether or not you are able to join us in person at the event on 4th March.

The activity is in 2 parts and no special skills or weaving experience are required.

Part 1 is designed as a postal activity pack for everyone to participate in at home in their own time and should be completed by 12th January 2024. 
Part 2 can either be completed at the Event or by post, more information will be provided in your pack.

Postal activity packs for Part 1 are ready for delivery and Barbara is standing by to send out your packs and answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to participate, please provide your name and postal address and a YES or NO to attending in person and we will then send you a bold Threads of Connection pack – and you can get involved!

Confirmation: I am / am not planning to attend the bold Celebrations Event on 4th March 2024 at the Scottish Storytelling Centre on the Royal Mile, Edinburgh.

Packs will also be distributed at the Dementia Arts Festival in Inverness on November (13^th – 16^th). Please let us know if you would like to collect yours there rather than sending by post.
